It is our purpose that this church, the "SANIBEL CONGREGATIONAL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST," shall exist for the Glory of God, for the service of people and for mutual assistance in our Christian life.
It is our purpose to protect, in every way we can, the land that God gave us here on Sanibel, and to foster protection of all birds, animals and plant life - as well as people - on this fragile barrier island.
It is our purpose to hold membership in the Florida Conference of the United Church of Christ.
It is our purpose to play our part in full fellowship in the United Church of Christ.
To these intents and purposes we do now solemnly pledge our time, our talents and our treasure.
